And the latest Mac OS build:

4.6.1 - you can now add a pair of coordinates after an item or itemEx line. These numbers will act as an offset from the item's normal center. putting -100 and -100 will result in the item being drawn roughly 100 pixels to the left and 100 pixels up. The item previews also reflect the changes.
4.6.2 - New keyword 'temprange' acts as a working hotself/coldself all-in-one. Ambient temperature transfer (losing/gaining temp based on Sandbox Temp) can now be disabled in-game.
4.6.3 - Windows 7 and Vista crashing fixed, experimental new conductivity system added (set "Use New Heat:" to 1 in the settings.ini). note - due to the new scaling, existing heat elements like torch and fire will not produce much heat and will require custom tweaking. Here's an explanation:
An element with conductivity > 1.0 will produce energy. An element with at least 2.0 conductivity will produce at least 1 energy per frame. An element with at least 3.0 conductivity will produce at least 2 energy per frame. Any fractional amount of conductivity will become an element's percent chance to gain 1 energy in that frame. So an element with 1.50 conductivity has a %50 chance of gaining 1 energy per frame. An element with 5.87 conductivity will gain 4 energy per frame AND has an %87 chance of gaining 1 more. Obviously the highest useful conductivity value is 100.0, which will generate 99 energy per frame.
For a sand modder, getting your elements to heat up at the desired rate is as easy as taking the average amount of energy per frame that you would like to achieve and adding 1.0.
Please report any bugs you have found with these versions. Tell me what the problem is and how I can reproduce it. I cannot support Windows Vista or Windows 7 at this time. I can only guarantee that it works on Windows XP SP3.
I don't guarantee that it will run properly on Mac OS, but I have only tested in on a PPC machine running 10.4.

It works well, I tried it.
