Burning Sand Flame War

The Burning Sand Flame War occured on the 18th March 2007. It was when a n00b named sixaxis posted his mod on the Burning Sand Forum. A few users told him to put it to the Newbie Mod Thread, but sixaxis didn't want to.

He then proceded to create a second thread linking to the same webpage of his first mod. Most users didn't check the site, as the URL was the same. sixaxis had not made it clear there was a second mod on the page. In retaliation to many other users telling him not to create two threads for the same mod, he started questioning the modding skills of those who offended him. This started a flame war which reached 11 pages in about half an hour.

randomcraziness managed to save the pages of the 'ULTIMATE MOD' topic.

There were 3 other spam threads created by sixaxis, which only got to about the 2nd page or so before it came apparent sixaxis had left. Everyone had decided to stop posting and wait for mods to delete the threads.
