OmegaSand

OmegaSand is a downloadable sand game. It is currently in an Alpha version, and so not much information is available. It was first released by fourwingedphoenix Sunday, November 12, 2006. Currently OmegaSand runs at a speed roughly comparable to wxSand, although the .exe extraction increased the speed somewhat.

Language
OmegaSand was originally an executable .jar file, as it was written in pure Java. HyperDrive, a forum user, compiled them to .exes, which results in somewhat better overall speed.
Moddability
OmegaSand is fully customizable. To edit files, open the "Default.txt" document with Notepad, and get to modding, using the OmegaSand Guide *Note: There isn't an OmegaSand guide yet.* Modding for OmegaSand is best described as a hybrid between the different downloadable sand games, as fourwingedphoenix intended.
Unique Features
OmegaSand is unique in being the only pure Java downloadable sand game (excluding EnigmaSand), discounting HyperDrive's .exes. It also comes with easter eggs, at least for now. OmegaSand has 3 selectable pen types, currently. It features a standard circular pen, a square pen, ideal for making structures, and a highly unique spiral pen.
