The Circuits of Destruction Mod is the first of my many mods. It was a project started on August 23, 2007 and finished on September 2, 2007. A couple of things that you should know about the Circuits of Destruction of Mod:
Here is a brief explanation of the various circuit parts you will find in this mod. \
Energy: There are three forms of energy; fire which is used in setting off explosives, electricity which is used in activated circuits, and tetrasulfide which causes a chemical reaction with chemicals triggering more elaborate and intense explosions.
Wires and Converters: There are two wires, creatively named Wire1 and Wire2. Wire1 simply is taken over by electricity and Wire2 slowly becomes source for electricity when exposed to it. MK56 is a device that destroys all devices transmitting electricity. Converter1 is activated by fire or electricity and is taken over by electricity. Converter2 is activated by fire or electricity and is taken over by fire. Converter3 is activated by fire, electricity, or tetrasulfide and is taken over by tetrasulfide. Converters are useful in the way that an explosive can set off an electrically activated circuit.
MK56: MK56 only works when activated by electricity and destroys things in a white powdery wave.
Signals: Beam1 and Beam2 are signals. When Beam1 is activated by electricity, it sends out an invisible signal. When that signal touches Beam2, it destroys itself and Beam1 and tells Beam2 to send out electricity.
Transformers: OutputTransformer is taken over simply by a pexplosion of eletcricity. InputTransformer has a more violent and complex reaction with electricity, but they both serve the same purpose.
Connectors: There are two connectors; a basic connector and a complex connector. They both work differently. With the basic connector, you simply need to draw two lines of the connector and add one of each orb. Expose each basic connector to electricity and you will see that they are transmitting destructive waves. When the waves touch each other, they will both die in an electrical explosion. The complex connector works in the same way, but Orb1 has to be beneath Orb2 at a fairly close distance in order for it to work. The connectors are just an interesting part of the circuit and serve no real purpose.
Resistors: There are two resistors which do not allow electricity to flow through them. They are used when you do not want electricity to touch a certain area, you just guard it with a resistor or two. Resistor1 is very weak and turns electricity in the vicinity to a useless orange powder that dissipates rather quickly. Resistor2 is incredibly strong and takes over electricity and grows. When it takes over active Wire2, it eats and tears away at the wire.
Infusers: There are six infusers, red, green, blue, yellow, detonation infusers, and spectrum infusers. They are all activated by electricity and consist of little spherical balls transmitted through the air that produce a byproduct (with the exception of the yellow infuser). Infusers destroy blocks of the corresponding color. The byproduct of red infusers is fire, the byproduct of blue infusers is tetrasulfide, and the byproduct of green infusers is electricity. The brown DetInfuser destroys all infusers. The sixth type of infuser is a spectrum infuser. Activated the same way, they are in some aspect a virus that takes over all infusers, destroys all blocks, unlocks locks, and gets rid of keys. SpectrumEnd is the only way to kill them without using Refresh, and even then that isn't a reliable way to get rid of them.
Blocks: Barriers that can be destroyed by infusers of the corresponding color (e.g. red infusers destroy red blocks, but cannot damage green blocks). Infuser and block combinations are used in triggering bombs from remote distances.
Keys and Locks: There is a Key and a Lock. Only a yellow infuser can open locks. When a yellow infuser touches a Key, it sends out an invisible signal. If that signal touches Lock, it makes it disappear. These are more practical for setting off explosives than using regular blocks.
Integrated Circuit: A circuit that undergoes a complicated cycle of evolution that ultimately results in vine-like protrusions of wire and steel that produce electricity.
Capacitor: Activated by electricity to store energy, and then it is released by a signal that moves through it, lit by fire. Useful for setting of circuits with fire or explosives.
Transistor: Produces long lasting mobile sparks when activated by electricity.
