Zanzarina's Sky Fortress Mod; fifteenth mod; December 14, 2007 - December 21, 2007. Here's a little bit of information on how to set up this battle from the sky to the Earth.
First of all, almost none of my mods have sources. This one does. Please turn it on. You will notice... it's the Sun! Used for solar energy and SolarBombs.
Solar: Invisible energy is falling down from the Sun and it is solar energy. If it touches SolarLight, it makes it turn orange. This is a sign that everything is working properly with the Sun. SolarBomb explodes once it has taken in enough SolarEnergy. If you do not want to deal with solar energy but you like the sight of the Sun being there, draw SolarBlock around it to prevent SolarEnergy from touching anything else.
Earth's Base and Terrain: Draw a hill from the left side of the screen at the bottom using Earth (the highest point in the hill about two inches) to about halfway across the screen. Now make a short area of land about two centimeters until you reach about the far right side of the screen. Make a little dip, and then make it back to normal height when you reach the far right. Now use EarthFill to fill in this area so you don't have to do it yourself. Make sure EarthFill does not leak. In this little dip of land at the right side of the screen, add a little bit of water. This little pond, as I guess it could be called, should be about a centimeter tall and about two inches (5 centimeters) wide. Across the left side of the ground where the hill starts to go up from the right, draw a backwards lower case "r" with FortWall so that it touches the left side of the screen and the lower side of the hill to the right. Fill this in with boxes so that there are about six empty rectangular spaces. Fill those with people, and some outside of the base to activate weapons. Then draw two shields slightly off of the ground and you are set.
Earth's Weapons: Flare is something that only works some of the time. A purple and white blob of plasma will go up and destroy things, but only if it works of course. Earth team also has rockets. Easily assembled, they are just a line of Rocket, a Fuse attached to it, and the Fuse is set on fire. Rockets will go up and damage their base\kill people\destroy clouds. When a land person touches the Pollute weapon, it will send up harmful pollution, but it does not affect the land people. The Nuke is definitely the most dangerous of all weapons, on both teams. It sends this ungodly force of fire and... stuff... that destroys a lot of things. Most of all, it disrupts the shields in a way that is undesirable, so do not use it if you know it will hit shields. You WILL have to start over. UpBomb is less intense, it sends a lot of small bombs upwards that damage the clouds. If you desire, you can dispatch a few LandShips to fight the CloudShips and damage their base.
Sky's Base and Terrain: Horizontal to where it shows you all of the Pen Sizes, go all of the way to the left of the screen, skip about 2 centimeters and place sixteen clouds horizontal to each other, with little space in between, but not so they are so close you cannot make out which cloud is which. By this point you should be under the Sun. Skip about 3/4" so that solar energy can move down through this spot, and draw one final cloud. You should have another empty spaceon the far right of the screen. Next, using SkyWall, draw something on the main string of clouds about in the center with SkyWall that has an exit, and a 2 x 4 arrangement of empty rectangles. Fill those with people and place people on other areas of the clouds, next to weapons. Viola! You have finished building the Sky Base.
Sky's Weapons: All of their weapons are activated differently than the ones down on the land. There are ports, and they are attached to the clouds. Place the ports of each weapon wherever you want, but they have to be touching a cloud, they cannot be within too close a-vicinity to the sky fort (2 x 4 arrangement of SkyWall), and yo have to abide by the limits stated in the element descriptions. GunPorts shoot down bullets that are sure to damage something or kill someone. BombPorts are very dangerous and very destructive. They will explode if they hit land, and they move through most things due to super density. Strongest sky weapon. VirusPort sends a virus down that starts taking over (and killing) people. It grows very very slowly and cannot be killed easily. ThunderPort starts a thunderstorm that sends down lightning. Does not last for long though.
Overall: Sky usually wins, but if you use Earth's nuke, Sky is done for.
